KINDER IS INVITED BY GRACEN'S FAMILY TO JOIN THEM ON SAN GERONIMO'S FEAST DAY: Friday at Taos Pueblo
We are invited to be attending San Geronimo's and visit with Gracen's family on Friday. What a wonderful way to celebrate together. If you are planning to attend, please email or message me so we can meet up around 3pm on the north side of the Pueblo where the "Aspen Leaf Tree House" is located, directly underneath. This is where Gracen's family celebrates the feast day and where they plan to see us. I am so grateful for them to embrace us on this unique celebration day of harvest and community. I attached Chenoa's, Gracen's mom's letter with more detailed information here. Thank you for your hospitality, Chenoa and Jaro.

Here is Chenoa and Jaro's personal invitation!

Greetings TISA Kinder Families,

I hope things are going well for you all as we go forth with our school year! We are Chenoa Velarde and Jaro Jackson, parent of Gracen Jackson. As you all know, the Fall season in Taos is an exciting time at Taos Pueblo as we get ready for winter with our harvest celebrations! One of them being San Geronimo Feast Day, which is held every year on September 30th. I want to extend my welcome to you all by inviting you to join us in our unique celebration of harvest, togetherness, and tradition. There will be ceremonial foot races beginning early on Friday morning starting at 7ish. Later that afternoon, there will be many arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and cultural activities performed by tribal members during the afternoon. Please be conscious of the strict cell phone usage on this day. We would like to share with our community and continue to provide our visitors with the opportunity to engage in these cultural traditions. Please remember that our Taos Pueblo community view our traditional activities as ceremonial and sacred. We respectfully ask for your cooperation. We welcome our Taos community!

Best,
Chenoa Velarde
Jaro Jackson

*If planning to attend, ask for “Mike Concha Family Residence”. It is located on the North side of the Pueblo where the “Aspen Leaf Tree House” is located, directly underneath. This is where our family celebrates the feast day where we plan to feed family and friends throughout the day. Thanks!

KINDER PIZZA FORM -- Pizza day will be this Thursday. Please email or message me if I missed anything. Remember to still pack snack and a light lunch for your child. Thank you!
